Cycle
Since ancient times, many rituals have celebrated the entire feminine monthly cycle. Many of these celebrate the connection of the cycle to the phases of the moon, an experience which is lost to the majority of modern women due to the artifical rearrangement of their cycles by means of contraceptive and other drugs, or simply to stress.
